About Us

The Police Athletic League (PAL) is a not-for-profit organization, 501 (c) (3), that is dedicated to the social developments of youth.  Our mission is to provide positive programs to assist our youth in improving the quality of life in our community.

In fulfilling this mission, PAL equips youth with the life skills needed for successful living through athletic, educational, social, and wellness programs.

PAL is based on the strong belief that children, if reached early enough, can develop a strong positive attitude towards police officers in their journey through life towards the goal of adulthood and good citizenship.

The aim of our efforts are to build self-esteem and resilience in youth and to provide positive alternatives to alcohol, tobacco, drugs, delinquency, violence, gang activity, and other negative behavior.  PAL programs include: Youth Director Council (YDC), Basketball, Martial Arts, Police Explorers, Wellness, Teen Nights, Bowling, Fishing, Billiards, Afterschool and Summer Programs and so much more.  Our programs service a variety of ages ranging from 7 to 18.  PAL provides activities to over 900 active youth members who see PAL as a second home.

Our PAL is only as good and strong as the community that supports us.  It is vital to have the backing of the community, local businesses, and industries to provide funds.

Of course all donations are GREATLY appreciated as well as tax deductible.  They enhance our outreach efforts so that we are able to SERVE more youth.
